Bolton Wanderers had a fairly busy winter transfer window as the English Championship club has seen many of their own players leaving the club. The 36 year old goal-keeper Paddy Kenny saw his way out of the Macron Stadium as his contract reached its expiration date and the club decided not to extend his stay.
One day after Paddy Kenny left Bolton Wanderers, the experienced shot-stopper decided to join Ipswich Town on a short-term deal.
The 27 year old defensive midfielder of Sierra Leone Mohamed Kamara was another one of the players that opted to make his way out of Bolton Wanderers as he went on to join Maccabi Haifa, this deal will last until the end of the current season but depending on the performances that the player manages to do, it could be extended and turned into a permanent deal that could last for a few more years.
Mohamed Kamara was not involved in the plans of the coach Neil Lennon and the player from Sierra Leone had to decide either to stay in Bolton Wanderers playing a not very important role or switch to a club where he can get more playing time. Even though Kamara joined the Israeli club Maccabi Haifa, Kamara said that he would like to make a return to Bolton Wanderers.
“I’m on loan here until June 2015; I am hoping to return to Bolton in the summer, I did not want to leave Bolton.”MedoKamara said.
Kamara didn’t want to leave Bolton Wanderers but Neil Lennon had already stated that the midfield section of the club was beginning to get crowded and a number of changes were going to be made in order to not have a team that isn’t so congested but the player of Sierra Leone is willing to return and fight back for his spot in the English team.
